..... the pally gets going?????

It was time to take on Mujaki for Nindyini's finale.  The legendary RaidWiper was ready.  "Let me MT that creep," she yelled to the denizens of PoNightmare.  "That drab-dressing reject from a B-grade horror film is going DOWN to the might of the legendary Nindyini!"

So she strapped on her armor, and you could see all the FLers just stand back in awe as she swaggered over to her MT spot.  There was disdain in her eyes, and a sneer on her lips as she looked Mujaki up and down.  Even veteran knights like Elintou and Arlanea stepped back in awe, realizing they were about to witness history … one of those moments you speak of in hushed tones to your grandchildren decades later.  “I was there, children, when the legend known as Nindyini defeated the mighty Mujaki.”

We all watched as she ran to the battle, sword raised high, confidence in every step.  We all watched as …. Oddly … she kept running.  And running.  And running.  And running.

“I’m not skeered,” we all heard her call out.  At least we think that is what she said.  From the distance it was hard to hear what she was saying.  Maerr thinks it might have been “I have a beard.”  We are not sure how to explain that one to our grandchildren when we recount the epic tale of Nindy and the Shade of Mujaki.

We were also baffled by how she got so far away so fast!  That mighty knight is FAST!  Fortunately, we did catch one glimpse of her secret, and now understand why the legendary Nindyini is able to move at speeds beyond that of most mortals, and is able to sometimes wipe groups in three different zones in less than an hour.  It is her mighty steed, Binky.

It seemed a simple thing ... do Scary's five final epic fights in an hour or so.  It looked safe if the 6 of us were careful ... especially when we headed to PoFear for her last drop from the wraith.

But ... we forgot to allow for FL's traditional overkill help.  Wheat we didn't realize is this time, the overkill idea was that TD would rush OVER to KILL all of us!

Well, at least he tried.  Pulling a train with him, TD decided to solo the Irebound Imp.  And the Enraged Imp.  And the Totally Ticked Off Imp.  And his 10 spawns.  And assorted wraiths, spiders, etc etc etc.

Despite TD's best efforts, we all survived.  And Fin was even abole to run up and get a surprise present, his epic drop!

Oh -- btw -- Scary got hers as well and completed her epic ... finally!

This looks suspiciously like the same dorf who was stuck in an ore cart in SSRA and various other locations.  That time he had to be saved by a nice passing mage.  Rumor is that the same thing happened this time.  But there seems to be evidence that Wildmare invited several friends over to laugh hysterically before using CoH to save the dorf.

Methinks there is a pattern here.

Onehearted stumbled upon some interesting information during her most recent travels to far away lands.  It appears Maer has started a Franchise of Healing Mob's in leiu of players.

The secret reporter, after learning this news, set out in search of these fabled locations.  This single photo was recovered but we have not heard from the secret reporter since and we fear for the worst...stay tuned.

And he seemed like a nice, gentle gnome.

But Nibbz finally did it -- charming a cutte widdle bunny wabbit -- and turning it into the Dread Rabbit of Kyburr!

The end of a great night for FL!  With more than 30 online it was time for some serious smishing!  Initially we planned to just take a group or two and kill Variglug for Distantsoul and Skelros.  But, as usual, everyone online wanted to help!  Plus, once we got to Barindu, we found Morgayn and a necro from her guild also needed variglug, so we added those two in and decided to go for the threepeat. 

So we formed a raid and killed Variglug three times for the skelly 1.5.  While there we decided to get a BiC drop for Moon, so we wandered over to a building where it turned out a bazillion tethered golems were waiting.  Once we figured out what was happening, we cleaned out the place and got the drop.

Then it was on to NC for revenge, FINALLY, against Tarlang for the necro finale. 

Tarlang had owned us many times in the past and revenge was overdue.  The wuss was skeered, so she asked Duranolin to come tank the first one (last time we tried this, I saw Dura and Fez both one-rounded by Tarlang.)  Well, talk about underestimating how strong FL has become recently!!  Tarlang went down faster than a certain diptwit chanty on prom night.

Dura had to leave, so next it was Handolur to MT our old nemesis.  To even things up, Maerr started healing tarlang, of course.  Then all the healers switched to mob support.  Moongod had to fight hand-to-hand.  For the last one Morgayn wanted the honors to MT for her guildmate, so we got the chance to see how a lady tanks a monster :-)

After seven great kills in about two+ hours, a couple groups were not done.  So it was off to Direwind to kill the guardians a couple times for the CoL drops.

I dun no if dis story will be found.  I wuz jus walkin down de hall, minding my own bizness, and all of a sudden dis meen peeples came around da korner and started to hurtz me!  Dere I wuz, just humming a liddle song I wuz makin up … la la la … la la de dah … whut a day for a day dreem … la la la … and sum of the not nicest peepol I have ever met ruined my song!

I look down at them and wowz!  Dey are mean!  Did leetle guy who looks like Santa Clawz on a bad hair day is punchin me in da knees!.  Dat bald spot of hiz keeps shinin in my eyz makin it hard to see him.  Sum gurl in a green dress is making dis sticky stuf keep landing on me and I kin hardly move sumtimz.  In da back dis guy dat must uv bin her husband – dey both seemed to have shopped at the same tird markdown rack at K-mart for green outfits – keeps shootin arrowz at me!  Dis Xaber wus really mean to me.  He kept doin sumtin with lightning dat wud make my mussels all get tight and I kudent move for like 3 or 4 seconds.

And, like whut is wit all da short people here?  Dey gotz frogs and haflings and gnomes.  I meenz, sum uf dem were too short for me to smish.  Cudint dey have some full size peepol for me to fight? 

Dere wuz one nice lady dere, though.  I like her.  She was a liddle blue hafling dat reminded me of a smurf.  She kept healin mez when I was getting hurt.  Imma goin ta give her dis story I am writin and meebe she can get it to sumone  to let’s them know whut happened.
